What's good fellow bksers! It's me Mr Keep Real and this blog is about Canibus and his new CD,Melatonin Magik! Ok here's the skinny. Canibus is a incredible hip hop artist who at one time was the hottest rapper with a bullet, until LL and Wyclef shanked his ass in the side and brought him down to earth!By the way,L you did him dirty by writing another verse and putting it in the 5,4,3,2,1 song but! i commend you for taking Master P's verse out cause that was wack! But anyway, on to Canibus. Bro, vocabulary is good when you arrrreee.......talking to a woman or...... interviewing for a job or......talking to your boys who didn't get there GED's and haven't seen you in 5 yrs cause you moved down south and you lie and say you went to college when you didn't ,you just read a dictionary! Vocabulary is not good when in a drive thru ordering White Castle or......... talking to a baby or........ most importantly, in a hip hop song! I had to Goggle every other word to know what the hell you was talking about!!!!!!!! Sometimes too many words was put in the verse and made your flow unsmooth! The prodution wasn't great. I was very suprised and disappointed in this project. The Canibus I knew walked across the sun bare foot and went on for more millinia than Mazda had in a parking lot! This project sounded like he was trying to prove he still was a good MCee, instead of knowing he is a great MCee! Look at it on the bright side tho, if i ever need a tutor for a exam, YOU THE MAN!!!! The problem with a lot of artist and producers in hip hop is they always want to reinvent the wheel! Sometimes the hottest waste increments(shit) is the most simplistically oriented waste increments(easy shit!)ahhhh you like that!!!! Later Fam!

Big up to Juvenile!!!
As everyone knows I have a incredible bias to the east coast hip hop, so much so it is totally unfair to the other areas of this great art form. Don't get it twisted tho, I still have a pretty good perception of what a good to great song is and great feel to what type of person the artist is. That being said,I was really impressed by Juvenile both professionally and personally on the interview tip. No question he was approachable and he answered any question without hesitation or "shuckin and jivin". Make sure you go back to the archives to listen to the team review his new cd, a banger!!!!!! Always remember if we missed a question that you wanted to ask,tell us on the chat during the intrview so we will get your voice heard to that peticular guest! Stay locked ya'll this journey is just beginning! Look for Mama Chill's Blog in the future called "I AIN'T BULLSH**ING!!!!!!" Thanks for your support!!!!!!!!

A place where separation may be better than integration
The current state of hip hop, Is it dead? Morphed into a new version, or Is it alive and kicking?. Many say its dead, as well as a well noted Hip Hop Artist, and there are the masses that say it’s not dead but it evolved with the times and it’s catering to what the kids of today want.
A hamburger and meatball are made from the same meat, Beef. Do you say I am having spaghetti and hamburger or spaghetti n meatballs? Or do you got say I want a meatball with cheese on a bun or I want a hamburger with cheese on a bun. My point being, just because it’s made from the same thing and has the some of the same qualities don’t make it the same all the way thru.
